On 11th June 2025, Kensom Community Advancement Organisation proudly took part in a partner engagement sensitization forum hosted by the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) at Palm Oasis Hotel, Garissa.
The event brought together various community-based organizations and stakeholders committed to promoting and protecting human rights in the region.
As a key participant, Kensom engaged in discussions on local human rights challenges, the importance of grassroots awareness, and collaborative approaches to strengthen civic engagement.
“As an organization working closely with communities, we recognize the need for inclusive and continuous sensitization on human rights. This forum was a timely opportunity for shared learning and action,” said Mohamed Ismail.

Kensom remains committed to advancing human rights through community mobilization, education, and partnerships with institutions like KNCHR. Events like this help amplify community voices and contribute to a more just and informed society.
We thank KNCHR for convening this critical forum and look forward to continued collaboration.
